Dye my hair purple ?

Well, just a strand.

I'm 13, and in holidays, and i wanted a funky hair color.

Should i go for it ? =)

dont worry you have nothing too lose just a little strand of hair wont make such a big difference to how you look

and if you dont like it you can always hide it under your other hair

you know what i wouldn't say a whole head but maybe a few random strands. Bold haircolors might make people think different but let them BE YOURSELF!!!

You could always try a temporary dye to see if you'd like it. An easy one to try is food coloring. You can lift up the section of hair you'd like to dye and drip your choice of food coloring down the shaft - be careful not to drip it in your eye, not because it will hurt or damage your eye, but because it will turn the whites of your eyes colors, too (unless that is a look you'd also like to go for).

I have also seen girls use washable markers (Crayola, for example) to color certain strands of their hair for a temporary purpose. If you don't like it, just make sure you have dish soap on hand to wash it out--it will dry your hair if you use it too often, so just wash the colored portion with it.
