Manic Panic hair dye...?

Hi everyone,

I'm incredibly stoked, because...

I get to dye my hair purple for my birthday!

YAY!

I'm going to use Manic Panic hair dye, so which shade of purple should I use? What style of hair would look best with it? Right now, I have short hair with a side bang.

Should I cut it in the back and make it spiky and keep my bangs?

P.S. Don't call me emo. I'm not emo, and I'm sick of being labeled...

well if its blonde then you dont need to bleach it

i use a lot of semi permanent dyes

it will only last like 2 washes and after that it will turn a crappy purple color

use the purple you like the most i like a darker purple

keep your bangs though

i like the spiky idea

depends on your face to detirmne the color of purple you should go for. Any hairstyle willlook fine, probably ponytails and pigtails will look best. I say keep your bangs.

You should use Loreal Colour Rays....

They have it in purple and you can get it at walmart....

Its the best that I tried. My hair is dark brown and I used manic panic and it didnt even color it at all...

I used Colour Rays and I didnt even have to bleach it or anything, it turned my dark brown hair bright/dark red. And when I say red I mean redder then a stop sign. Its wonderful.

WOOHA! stop right there mister! I'm 17, my hair has been every color of the rainbow (except green...but i'm doing that for st patties day! yay!)...please! I'm begging you! don't use Manic Panic! ..or Color Fiend!! they are both the same company and crappy! the color WILL NOT come out as expected...it hardly ever does..its very hit/miss...which is not a fun game to play with your hair...i just dyed my hair violet like a month or two ago, and i used manic-turned hot pink. used color fiend-turned grey/blue/green. RAW COLOR works GREAT!! check hot topic..thats where i got it. I used Deep Purple and its just now needing to be redone. and I only used 1/2 bottle. so theres enough for touch ups...and i'm a girl with long hair...just trust me! dont mess it up if your parents are skeptical!!! i've learned lol
