by the way, my hair is already coloured, and i want the dye to work and make my hair JET BLACK.

Lush do an indigo dye but you have to leave it on for hours. I just use a semi permanent.

any dark base hair colors will darken your hair.

depends on tones in your hair.

E:G 100% grey =more base / dash"warmth." Examp: Gold / Auburn.

50% Grey = more base /quater"warhth"Gold/Auburn

natural tones equal amounts of base and tone.

if lighter at roots apply to roots first.

if lighter at ends apply first.

You can most likely get indigo shipped you from a good online company as it is kind of hard to find in local stores at this time. It has been picking up as a good natural alternative to chemicals and it will color your hair permanently to make black tones but you must use henna first to make sure the indigo clings to your hair well. This is the natural way to go :)
