I've always had blonde hair, but over the summer I dyed it Platimun Blonde which almost destroyed my hair. I want to dye it a darker blonde now to match with my roots. I would like to use non-perminant hair dye to see if I like it first. I don't want my hair to turn green. Right now I have Platinum Blonde hair and dark roots, its soo much maintenance, I need a change. Can someone please give me some advice.... Thanks

Your in luck! Going from a very light color to a darker color is easy... the only way your hair will turn green is if you use both colors the same day or within, i'd say a week from each other. As long as its been about 6 weeks since you did your hair last, you'll have no problems. Buy the darker blonde and do it, it will all be fine.

You're treading in scary water with this one. Okay, first....if your hair is damaged, and I'm sure it is with the Plat blonde color, take 2 weeks and condition the hell out of it. Then, buy what's called a rinse, it washes out immediately. Decide if you like the concept of the color...it won't be exact..just to give an idea. If you decide you like it use a box. I use Garnier Nutriesse...because of the avocado oil...very good for your hair. After you color your hair...again condition the hell out of it. Then leave it alone for as long as possible.

Some of these answers are funny...your hair will not go green from using both colours in one day...nor is chlorine the only thing that will turn your hair green...your hair can turn green from going platinum blonde...darker ..if you use a colour with green in it...this is used when trying to cut unwanted red tones. I agree with whoever said...get a neutral or golden shade of blonde...but...the best colour you will get would be from a pro.
