i had blonde hair which i dyed to brown ahnd the to black..i decided to use xxl purple ahnd it hasnt turned out what i wanted..its kindah dyed my roots the color i wanted ahnd the rest of my hair is tinted but still black!! is there any decent hair dye i can get that i can use to get purple hair because its the only color my school allows!!

please note i am young so please dont tell me to go to like toni ahnd guy!!! ahnd i also live in london,UK

keep dying it to a normal color.. which is hard been there done that. and I would honestly say go back to your natural color blonde because I have realized with my own hair.. that coloring a lot is damaging and now I had to cut it all off.. so there are conquiences with dying hair..

What school do you go to that only allows purple hair?

It's usually hard to dye black hair any other color unless you bleach it first, which you may want to, unless you wanted your hair to be black with a purple sheen.

You need to strip the black out first. It will fry your hair but you'll need to double process it anyway...

Well once you did black that was the problem. Black is the hardest color to remove and usually does not lighten evenly.

You have to remove the black in order to get the purple you want. There are various hair lighteners to achieve this. You need to get your hair color to a reddish stage then apply the purple on top of that.
