Wow, I'm sorry for you. Dyeing hair should be left to the pros. You need to seek the services of a good stylist to fix the damage.

STOP immediately, you will only make it worse and quite possibly severely damage your hair. Go see a reputable colourist. There is nothing you can do in your bathroom to correct it.

Color your hair a dark color. That will make your hair look more of an even color. Leave going blonde up to the professionals.

through experience the only way to fix a bad dye job is let the professionals handle it .. the more u play with it the worse it will become.. the salon will probably charge tons ... but believe me it;s worth it

Go to the salon and get your hair stripped from all of the crap you've put in it. They will be able to get your color fixed.

If you do color it again by yourself, I will tell you what to do.The problem is that when you have colored your hair so many times it really becomes unpredictable as to how the color takes. The reason the color is lighter at the roots is because your head omits heat making it lift faster. Its called the Halo effect. The best thing to do is pick out a color that is darker than what you have now.You will need help from someone to apply the color to the roots(where its lighter). leave that color on for about 30 minutes. Then add the color to the rest of your hair for the remaining a remaining15 minutes. Color cant lift color.(meaning-dont try to lighten color with color,it wont work.)You are going to have to go at least as dark as the hair below the Halo.Adding color is less damaging than lifting color.Dont use an ashe based color. Use a violet base or nutural base.It says the base color on the box. A-ashe, V-violet, R-red, N-nutural. Violet will cut out some of the brassyness, but Nutural is good also.Corrective color is unpredictable at this level because you have colored it so much,But at a shop you will have to fork out some bucks.Good luck.

Stop! don't do anything else. You need to go to a salon to have it fixed. Don't make it worse. I just had my hair color go wrong on me also, this is one that I have been using and it's been coming out good up until the other day. Your not alone, I have to go to a salon to. I know how you feel. I think I look nasty. Go to a salon.
