HAIR DYE COLOR HeLP!?

umm just bought loreal natural match hair dye and i have more of a golden brown hair color and when i read the box it said to make sure that your natural and current color is close to dark brown ( as i bought a dark brown dye). Im not quite sure how to take that and i dont understand if it means that unless my hair is close to that color that it wont dye my hair or that unless my hair is that color it wont enhance my brown. please help. im not trying to enhance my brown im just wanting to go darker brown.

i'm not sure what they mean by that but the darker you want it to get then the longer you should leave it in for. if your color is much different then the color on the box then you will have to leave it in longer than the suggested time but to be sure of this you should always do a strand test before dying your hair. the box should have instructions for this. hope it turns out!
