Hair dye and hair loss?

i've dyed my hair plenty of times and i realized that my hair isn't as thick as it use to be... but i dislike my original hair color... does anyone know if i dye my hair without it touching the roots... would i still lose hair?

Yes you still will. When ever you put chemicals on your hair or heat of any kind it's going to happen. The best thing to do is do a reconstructive treatment before and after dying your hair. Also using professional shampoos and conditioners will help keep it in the best possible state. -L
