Pink Hair Dye Temporary for Hair Tips?

I want to dye the tips of my hair (like the ends) pink for a thing, but I have school the next day and I can't have it on the next day? Is this possible? Or if there's something that comes out at least within a week. Also, I have dark brown hair so I'm guessing temporary dye won't turn out? And I don't want to bleach my hair.. any solutions other than a wig?

a semi permanent dye would wash out within about 1 week... it would show up- just not as well as it would on light hair- also any one of the comb in wash out things works great too- it comes out in one wash-

OR you could use the hair spray color stuff at walmart- like they have it for Halloween, but they sell it yearround... it wouks like hairspray only it's colored and all the colors show up on all haircolors... it comes out in one wash as well

Herbal Essences and L'oreal have some temporary hairdye that lasts through 8 shampoos but I don't think they have pink. They have purple though. There is also some spray on hair color (like hairspray) or streaks (they look like colorful mascara tubes) that wash out right away. You can find them at any beauty supply store. I prefer the the streaks though, because it won't make your hair as stiff as the spray.

You can go to a party store or a Halloween store and get a pink hairspray. You can apply it just to your tips and it will easily wash out.
