im gonna dye my hair tomorrow using herbal essences at home dye and i was wondering.....

* i have never dyed my hair before and im not sure if im gonna like the color. so how long will it take if i use hair dye from a box to wash out completly?

* and if and when it washes out will it go back to my natural color or will it still look a little bit like he color i dyed it to?

if it's your FIRST time dying your hair, then i wouldn't reccomend using the at home do it yourself stuff. i would get it done professionally, because alot of times the colors that you choose will not turn out the way you like it due to your natural hair color. %26amp; sometimes if you don't do it correctly the color will be spotty. it's like they don't blend or something..lol. but a professional can tell you if the color you want will work on your hair, %26amp; help you choose the right color. %26amp; if you buy the PERMANENT kind from the store [it should say that on the box] it won't wash out, it will ONLY fade alittle from you washing it. eventually, your hair will grow back to your natural hair color. just be careful..like i said, having a professional do it is best.

well the box that you die ur hair with will probobly come with special shampoo that will not make your hair change color, so maybe if you use normal shampoo then it will go back 2 normal?

NOOO i reccomend not using the home dye. It can have slightly unpredictable results. My mom does hair and trust me it is better to do it professionally

If you dont like it you could use hair dye remover.

if you are wondering how it will look on your hair.. do what the professionals do and do a strand test

do it in a place where it wont show if you don't like it

take that product.. and use about 1/8 of color and 1/8 peroxide it has in the box and mix it.. that way if you DO like it.. you can use the rest of it up

color does not usually wash completely out.. when you color your hair.. you have to think of it as a commitment and do it once a month to keep that color looking good

once you color your hair (if it's a permanent hair color) your hair will always be colored until it completely grows out
