Hair dye on dark brown hair?

i have dark brown hair and i want to get colored hight lights in like blur or pink or maybe some other colors. would i have to bleach my hair. my friend got red put in hers and they didnt bleach it because she has her hair relaxed so they couldnt mix chemicals and her hair is black so do you think it will work for me without bleaching. also send me a website that says where i can get the colored dye or a brand. it can be permaet or temporary doesnt matter

yes, you would need bleach unless you only want it tinted that color. if you want it bright and bold, get it bleached first.
