How to dye hair naturally?

I have light brown hair, and i want to dye it red.

I don't want to use hair dye or anything like that, i want to do it with homemade stuff.

I heard lemon juice, food colouring + sugar works? I tried it and it just kinda went darker.

I want to dye it temporarily.

Go to a drugstore or to a mall and buy henna natural hair dye. It's made from this herb henna which dyes hair without chemicals. You can get any shade you want, but henna has especially gorgeous red colors. Just consult a saleslady :)

I totally recommend henna. it naturally conditions your hair and gives it a "non-chemical" shine. my hair is dyed with henna. i had brown hair, and it dark black now!

if you want the red i suggest you mix up:

100g BAQ henna (i didnt use this, but its what my friend used for her red hair)

25 g of paprika

15g turmeric

1cup of VERY strong chamomile tea (4 teabags steeped in 2 cups of water for a few hours)

1 cup of lemon juice

just slop it on ur hair and cover it up with saran wrap and lleave it on for few hours.

and NOT ALL MIXTURES WORK FOR EVRYONE. i suggest trying the henna on the waste strands of hair on ur hairbrush xD
